High School Credit Program (HSCP) - JFM Tamil School Policy
School systems across the U.S. may consider achievement in the JFM Tamil School Certificate Program for high school credits. Please note, JFM Tamil school will provide ONLY the supporting documents for you to work with your school board to get the high school credits. Each state and/or school board determines eligibility for their jurisdiction. Collaborate with your school board to understand their requirements before you enroll.

JFM Tamil School is run by Jesus family ministries, a non-profit 501(c((3) tax exempt organization, registered in the state of New Jersey, Estd. 2005. Pas. Oswin Michael founded the school in the year of 2020 to provide an opportunity to learn and converse in our native tongue, Tamil. The school currently has 140+ students with 15+ teachers.
· Students will learn how to read, write, speak, sing a song, Grammer and so on.
· Real-time, interactive classes with experienced language instructors from USA, Australia, India and Sri Lanka via video conferencing.
· Structured courses for beginners to advanced learners.
· Each year the students will have to 3 projects and 3 assessments.
· 32 weeks virtual class. Each week students will attend virtual classroom lessons for 1.5 hrs and additionally do self-learning for 1.5 hrs.
· Students who score more than 90 marks (Average of 32 weeks marks) will receive honor award and if they score more than 95, they will get high honor award. Students should get minimum 70 marks to be promoted to the next grade.
· Online Platform for parents to track students’ progress, communicate with teachers, and participate in school activities and events.
· The student has to study 3 years (Grade 06 to Grade 08), at JFM Tamil School, continuously.
· This program is not applicable for alumni / past students. Breaks are not allowed.
· Skipping grade is not allowed.
· Student should earn a minimum of C-grade (minimum of 70 marks) in all 3 years.
· JFM Tamil School will issue a transcript all three years of the student’s marks, principal recommendation and course completion letter in a sealed envelope.

· Collaborate with the school / school board to find out when they need the above documents and how to send these to them? Please note, JFM Tamil school need 30 days of notice to provide the documents.
